Cultivation: Rubber Duck

Somewhere off both the classic and shadow elemental rings sits one more root: the Duck Dao, a joke eleventh element wired into the exact same off-ring registry every real Dao root uses. It unconditionally counters every classic and shadow element in combat and is countered by none — the price of standing entirely outside both rings — with its own configurable counter-cycle bonus, 5% by default.

Nobody picks Duck from a menu. Kill a vanilla Duck NPC (role id Duck, never the quest-only Temple Duck) and it has a rare chance — 3% by default — to drop a Carved Wooden Duck: carved, not rubber, since no such toy exists in this world. Its Secondary interaction claims the Dao through the exact same DaoManager.choose chokepoint every other Dao pick in Cultivation goes through — same costs, same cooldowns, same refusal messages, only Duck-flavored. The duck only leaves your hand on a successful claim; every refusal (wrong realm, on cooldown, not enough Qi, already Duck) leaves it right where it was.

Two Duck-locked techniques come with the Dao: Duck's Peck, a radial bill-strike burst that damages everyone within a short radius, and Furious Waddle, a short forward hop along your own line of sight. Both scale with your realm, and both quack — literally, using the vanilla Duck's own alert-quack sound cue.

Walking the Duck Dao forces Duck Pond onto you: a saturated, rubber-duck-yellow reskin of all 135 of Cultivation's current UI documents, applied automatically and un-choosable from the theme dropdown for as long as your chosen Dao is Duck. A cosmetic feather-and-quack trail follows any Duck Dao cultivator who is also in a Sect, re-pulsed every 4 seconds and respecting the base mod's own aura visibility settings.
