The short version: you buy mods for your Hytale server, we deliver them and keep them updated, and neither of us shares things that aren't ours to share — you don't redistribute the mods, we don't redistribute your data. The long version follows, in plain words.

Who we are

Siren's Mods operates this site, xianxia.dev, and its store, the Treasure Pavilion. When these terms say "we", that is who is meant. When they say "you", they mean the person holding the account that accepted them — buying anything from the Pavilion is accepting them.

We are not Hypixel Studios. Hytale is the property of Hypixel Studios, and nothing here is affiliated with, endorsed by, or made by them. The mods sold here are independent, fan-made server addons.

Your account

Signing in happens through Discord, so your account here is anchored to your Discord account — keeping that secure is keeping this secure. Discord requires its users to be at least 13, and so do we.

We can suspend or close an account that is used to abuse the store: sharing paid files, reselling access, fraudulent payments, or deliberately breaking things. That is the only reason we close accounts.

What you are buying

Everything in the Pavilion is sold one of three ways, and each behaves differently. The product page always says which applies.

Subscriptions

A subscription grants every paid mod in its family — including ones added to the family later — for as long as it is active.

• Renewal. It bills monthly until you cancel, to the payment method on file.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then, nothing more is charged, and you can undo it at any point before it ends.
• When it ends, by cancellation or failed payment, access to those mods ends with it: your downloads for them stop working and you should stop running the jars. Anything you bought outright is untouched.
• Plan changes modify your existing subscription rather than starting a second one, so you are never billed twice for the same mods. Price differences are prorated onto your next invoice.
• Price changes never apply mid-period. If a price you are paying is going to change, we will tell you before a renewal at the new price happens.

Bought outright

A one-time purchase is yours permanently, including every future update of that mod. It does not expire, and it survives any subscription ending.

Bound to a name

Some content is applied in-game to the single Hytale username you give at checkout — there is nothing to download. You can correct the username from your account page afterwards, a few times per month; the limit exists so purchases cannot be shuffled between players indefinitely.

The license

Buying a mod buys a license to use it, not the mod itself. Plainly:

• You may run the mods on servers you operate — including public and community servers — and make whatever private modifications your server needs.
• You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly re-host the files, share your download links, or present the mods as your own work.
• Subscription mods may be run while the subscription that grants them is active.
• The rebranding add-on, while active, additionally licenses presenting those mods under your own server's name and branding to your players. It does not transfer authorship or permit redistribution.

If you want to do something these terms don't cover — bundle a mod with a modpack, feature it commercially — ask. The answer is often yes.

Discord perks

Purchases can grant roles in our Discord server, Siren's Cove. When you signed in you authorized us to add you to that server; roles are attached to what you hold and are removed when it lapses. Perks in Discord are a courtesy alongside the purchase, not the purchase itself.

Mods and Hytale updates

Hytale changes, and mods must chase it. We keep the mods sold here working with current Hytale versions on a reasonable-efforts basis, and version histories on each product page show that record. What we cannot promise is that any mod works with every past or future Hytale version, with every other mod, or on every server setup. The mods are provided as is.

Refunds

The refund policy is its own page, and it is part of these terms.

If things go wrong

We are a small operation selling game mods, and the stakes should match that. To the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect damages — lost profits, lost worlds, lost server communities — and our total liability for anything arising from the store is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you and does not let us take away.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, the change will be visible here with a new date at the top, and material changes to how subscriptions bill will be told to subscribers before they renew. Continuing to use the store after a change is accepting it.

The legal frame

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the courts there — except where consumer law entitles you to your own.
