Bounty Board

The Bounty Board (悬赏令) is a rotating board of solo contracts, open to any cultivator regardless of sect membership. It sits apart from the Auction House entirely — nobody is trading with anybody here, you are simply taking on a job the board is offering and turning it in.

The three archetypes

ArchetypeWhat it asks
HUNTSlay a set number of a named creature
RETRIEVEDeliver a set number of a named item
TEMPERSurvive a set number of tribulation lightning strikes during a real breakthrough or Ascension ritual

TEMPER is the odd one out: it does not send you anywhere new, it asks you to come through a ritual you would already be attempting and log the strikes you took. A contract's reward can combine Qi, a spirit pill, and a manual — any or all of the three, depending on what the board rolled.

Accepting and progress

/bounty — a top-level command, not nested under /cultivation — opens the bounty dashboard. In chat, a bare /bounty falls back to listing the board and whatever contracts you have already accepted.

Progress is never lost to a rotation

The board refreshes periodically, but a contract you have already made progress on stays exactly as it is — with your progress intact — until you finish it or abandon it yourself. Being mid-hunt when the board turns over costs you nothing.

Tuning

The board is config-driven, in Society/BountyConfig.json: how many contracts sit on the board at once, how often it rotates, how many you may hold accepted at a time, the target-count range for each archetype, and the reward ranges. In practice this means a handful of contracts are available at any moment, refreshed every so often, each worth a modest but real reward — the server owner's exact numbers may differ, so check that file rather than assuming a fixed count.
