Mermaids 4.0.0 made the Curve Tail every mermaid's tail and moved the original tails out of the base mod. This addon brings them back: the original Mermaid Tail and Mammal Tail return to the Model tab of the mermaid menu, beside the Curve tails, with their eight fins, their colors and presets, and their original animations.
Installing it does not undo the move to the Curve Tail. Mermaids 4.0.0 moves anyone wearing an original tail onto the Curve Tail the first time they join; with this addon installed, the original is one click away on the Model tab again, fins and all.
At a glance
- The original Mermaid Tail in its eight colors, and the Mammal Tail in orca and dolphin
- All eight original fins, and the four presets that used them
- The original animations
- Mermaids Premium's 215 colors show on the original Mermaid Tail too
- Requires Mermaids 4.0.0 or newer
- Free. Sign in and download it.
What comes back
- The Mermaid Tail, in orange, pink, purple, rose, lime, blue, aqua and cyan, and the Mammal Tail, in orca and dolphin markings.
- Dorsal fins: Full Back, Fin and Large Fin. Pectoral fins: Full Side, Flippers and Large Flippers. Ear fins: Ear Fins and Spiked Ear Fins.

What it needs

- Hytale Update 6 (Server API 0.6.x).
- Server-side only. Your players install nothing.
- Remove it and nobody is left on a missing model: anyone wearing an original tail falls back to the Curve Tail.
