Sacred Bodies Wiki/The Eight Physiques

The Eight Physiques

Where a sacred body is what a cultivator is at the root and there is only ever one, a physique is a narrower quirk of the anatomy — sharper eyes, denser muscle, a deeper dantian. Physiques are commoner than a sacred body, and each does less on its own.

Yes, they stack

A cultivator's physiques are stored as a set, not a single slot — unlike the sacred body field, which holds at most one id. That means a cultivator can hold:

That independence is also what makes a physique count as a story rather than a stat block: nobody had to write a rule for "what if someone gets three," because the same per-physique roll already produces that outcome on its own, just rarely.

Tiers: a roll, not a ladder

Every physique carries a tier, decided once — at the exact instant it's acquired, whether by the roll or by an admin's grant — and fixed for life after that. It is not something a cultivator climbs by using the physique or by breaking through; it is how well they happened to be born with it.

TierWeight (relative chance)Multiplier
Legendary60×1
King25×1.5
Saint12×2.25
Immortal3×3.5

The left column is a weight, not a percentage — the four are normalized against each other, which is why the defaults read as "Legendary is twenty times likelier than Immortal" without needing four numbers that sum to exactly 100. A server owner can zero any single weight out to stop that tier from appearing at all, and the multiplier scales everything that physique grants — a Saint-tier Bone of Jade is worth 2.25× a Legendary one, before any other bonus is added.

Two cultivators holding the same physique are therefore not sharing the same gift. An admin granting a physique without stating a tier draws from this exact same weighted table, so a hand-placed physique is rolled no differently than a born one.

The eight, and what each grants

Figures below are each physique's own number before its tier multiplier is applied — a Legendary copy grants exactly this, a King copy grants it × 1.5, and so on.

Tyrant Strength Body (霸体)

Muscle laid down wrong, in the way that wins fights — the only physique that costs something, deliberately.

  • +3% damage dealt (Tyrant-Damage-Percent)
  • +3% extra damage taken (Tyrant-Fragility-Percent) — the trade. Both numbers scale with tier together, so an Immortal-tier Tyrant Strength Body (×3.5 on each) is a genuinely dangerous thing to be as well as to fight.
Yin-Yang Eyes (阴阳眼)

Eyes that see the two breaths moving, and so learn to hold them level.

  • The band that counts as a perfect Yin-Yang balance is +40% wider (YinYangEyes-Balance-Tolerance-Percent) — this stacks with the Ancient Sacred Body's own tolerance bonus if a cultivator somehow holds both.
Spirit Sea (灵海)

An unusually deep dantian.

  • +6% Qi absorption (SpiritSea-Qi-Percent).
Hundred Meridians (百脉)

Channels open from the start.

  • Every charged technique gathers 10% faster (HundredMeridians-Charge-Time-Reduction-Percent).
Bone of Jade (玉骨)

A skeleton that does not break — plain, unglamorous toughness.

  • +4% damage reduction (JadeBone-Damage-Reduction-Percent).
Windless Step (无风步)

A body that weighs rather less than it looks like it should.

  • +8% of Base Stamina (WindlessStep-Stamina-Percent) — a flat +8 stamina at the default Base Stamina of 100, applied as a keyed stat modifier and scaled by tier.
Heaven's Blind Spot (天盲)

The heavens lose track of it.

  • Rituals are 12% easier (HeavensBlindSpot-Ritual-Ease-Percent) — a shorter ritual and a softer tribulation strike, the same ease Dao Fetus grants, stacking with it.
Undying Marrow (不朽髓)

Marrow that never stops rebuilding what the day took out of it.

  • +25 flat Health (UndyingMarrow-Health) — not a percentage, applied as a keyed stat modifier and scaled by tier.

How it actually applies

Every physique's contribution is computed live from the cultivator's stored tier, every time it matters — a damage roll, a Qi tick, a ritual starting — so there is no caching to go stale. The two flat bonuses (Windless Step's stamina, Undying Marrow's health) are pushed onto the cultivator's stat map as keyed modifiers, which means re-applying them — on every login, and after any admin change — replaces the old value rather than adding to it. Losing the physique removes the modifier cleanly rather than leaving a phantom bonus behind.

Where you see it

Every physique a cultivator holds, with its tier, appears in the Constitution section of the Cultivation Overview page alongside their sacred body (if any). /sacredbody reports the same list in chat, open to any player.
