The Sixteen Bodies
A cultivator carries at most one sacred body — the field that stores it holds a single id, not a set. Two would not be a double blessing; they would be two different people.
Numbers below are the default config values. Every one of them lives in a config key a server owner can retune, and every body can be disabled outright without touching anyone's save — see Admin and Config.
What every sacred body carries
Regardless of which of the sixteen it is, holding any sacred body adds the same four bonuses on top of whatever that body does on its own:
| Bonus | Default | Config key |
|---|---|---|
| Qi absorption | +5% | All-Bodies-Qi-Percent |
| Damage taken | −3% | All-Bodies-Damage-Reduction-Percent |
| Stamina | +5% of Base Stamina (100) — a flat +5 | All-Bodies-Stamina-Percent |
| Aura size | +20% | All-Bodies-Aura-Scale-Percent |
The aura bonus is the only part of a constitution other players can read from across a field — every sacred body pulses the same +20% larger and denser regardless of which one it is, on purpose: it should say "that person is something," not which something.
All of a cultivator's percentages combine additively within this mod — two things granting +5% Qi read as +10% together, not +10.25%. Cultivation multiplies that combined figure against everything else, so bonuses still compound normally across mods; it is only the numbers inside one constitution that sum rather than stack.
The four great bodies
Golden blood that suppresses evil.
- +5% extra damage reduction (
Ancient-Damage-Reduction-Percent), on top of the shared −3%. - A shift toward Yin moves it 40% less than it should (
Ancient-Yin-Resistance-Percent) — not immovable, but heavily resistant. - The band that counts as a perfect Yin-Yang balance is 50% wider for it (
Ancient-Balance-Tolerance-Percent), which is what makes that balance genuinely easy to hold.
The one body with no numbers of its own. What it grants isn't a multiplier — it removes the Dao element lock entirely, so every elemental art is open to it regardless of which Dao the cultivator has chosen. Its holder isn't a cultivator with a wider Dao; they are one the Dao lock does not describe.
A body that was already listening before it was born.
- +15% Qi absorption (
DaoFetus-Qi-Percent), stacking with the shared +5%. - Rituals are 25% easier (
DaoFetus-Ritual-Ease-Percent) — both a shorter ritual and a softer tribulation strike at the end of it. - Every charged technique gathers 25% faster (
DaoFetus-Charge-Time-Reduction-Percent).
A frame built for violence.
- +5% damage with everything it swings (
Firmament-Damage-Percent). - An additional +10% when fighting unarmed (
Firmament-Unarmed-Damage-Percent), applied on top of the general bonus rather than instead of it — a bare-handed Firmament Overlord strikes at roughly ×1.05 × ×1.10, not a flat ×1.10. The body is "better at everything, and built for fists," not "either/or."
The two poles
Pure cold, and elementally aligned to Ice — it draws the standard elemental bonuses below in addition to its own.
- A shift toward Yin moves it 60% further (
Yin-Body-Yin-Shift-Percent) — the mirror of the Ancient body's resistance. - +8% extra damage taken (
Yin-Body-Fragility-Percent) — positive, meaning worse. The same coldness that gives it its affinity works away at its owner, and this figure is subtracted straight out of its damage reduction.
Pure fire, and elementally aligned to Fire — same elemental bonuses as any other Fire-aligned body, plus its own.
- A shift toward Yang moves it 60% further (
Yang-Body-Yang-Shift-Percent). - Outright immune to any
DamageCauseid listed inYang-Body-Immune-Damage-Causes— by defaultFire, Cultivation_Fire, Lava, Burn. An id that doesn't resolve to anything is simply never matched. - That immunity is what makes the next line possible: +100% Qi while meditating in lava (
Yang-Body-Lava-Qi-Percent), which applies only while actually standing in it. A lava lake is the finest meditation seat on the map for exactly one person.
Both Yin and Yang are elemental bodies in every mechanical sense — Yin is bound to DaoElement.ICE and Yang to DaoElement.FIRE, the same elements the plain Ice and Fire bodies below carry. They are simply the two whose id and Dao alignment happen to line up with a pole rather than a plain element, and they stack their own numbers on top of the shared elemental ones.
The ten elemental bodies
The likeliest sacred bodies to turn up, and deliberately the plainest: their entire identity is that the cultivator was already born pointing down one Dao path.
| Body | Element |
|---|---|
| Verdant Wood | Wood |
| Unmoving Earth | Earth |
| Flowing Water | Water |
| Blazing Fire | Fire |
| Keen Metal | Metal |
| Frozen Ice | Ice |
| Racing Wind | Wind |
| Venomous | Poison |
| Thunderborn | Lightning |
| Hollow Void | Void |
Every elemental body — these ten, plus Yin and Yang for their own elements — grants the same pair of bonuses for its own element and nothing else:
- +10% Qi absorption (
Elemental-Qi-Percent), applied to all Qi gain rather than only Qi of that element — a standing affinity rather than a per-source bonus, which is also the only reading that works for Qi banked away from a vein rather than drawn from one directly. - +15% Dao affinity for that element specifically (
Elemental-Dao-Affinity-Percent) — a head start down its own path, not down every path.
The floors that keep a body from going too far
A few of the multipliers above are clamped so that stacking constitutions can't reach an absurd extreme:
- Damage reduction never exceeds 90%. Fragility (like the Yin Body's) is subtracted from reduction before this floor is applied, so a Tyrant Strength Body worn by a Yin Body reads as a real net cost, not two multiplications that quietly cancel.
- Charge time never drops below 10% of the art's authored time — an instantly-gathered art would stop being a gathered art.
- Ritual difficulty never drops below 25% of normal — "easier" is the promise a Dao Fetus or Heaven's Blind Spot physique makes, not "skipped."
Where you see it
Your constitution has its own Constitution section on the Overview page of the Cultivation menu, listing your sacred body and every physique with its tier. /sacredbody (alias /body) tells you the same thing in chat, open to any player — no permission required.
