Getting Started

Sacred Bodies is a paid add-on for Cultivation: sixteen constitutions and eight anatomical physiques a cultivator can be born with. Nothing here is earned. You do not train toward a sacred body, quest for one, or improve your odds of one — it is either already true of the character you are playing, or it never will be.

Measured once, ever

A cultivator is rolled a single time: on their very first login, or the moment a new profile is created. Two separate draws happen at that instant — one sacred body (or none), and any number of physiques (or none) — and neither is ever repeated for that character.

There is no ritual to attempt, no item to farm, and critically, no re-roll. Not for the player, and not for an admin working the ordinary tools — /sacredbody reroll exists, but using it on a whim defeats the entire point of the system, which is described in full on Admin and Config.

If your server installs Sacred Bodies onto an existing world, nobody already playing is left out: each of them gets their one roll on their very next login, exactly as a brand-new character would.

Most cultivators roll nothing

This is worth stating plainly, because it is the design rather than a disappointment.

Those figures come from the default config — a 2.5% chance of any sacred body, and an independent 3% roll for each of the eight physiques. A server owner can retune every one of those numbers; see Admin and Config for where.

Rolling nothing costs you nothing. Every road in Cultivation is still open — a sacred body is a shorter road, never the only one. And when a body is drawn, it is drawn evenly from the sixteen: the rare half of the event is having one at all, so the roll does not then make one of the sixteen rarer still.

Not purely cosmetic

Unlike Jade Slip, Sacred Bodies is not a look. A sacred body changes real numbers — Qi absorption, damage, stamina, ritual difficulty — and one physique, Tyrant Strength Body, is a genuine trade rather than a straight upgrade: it hits harder and is hurt more easily, and both halves grow together with its tier. Nothing here is hidden until it matters; every number is documented on The Sixteen Bodies and The Eight Physiques.

Getting it

Sacred Bodies is available in the Pavilion — either with a Cultivation subscription, which carries every paid Cultivation add-on for as long as you hold it, or bought outright for a one-time price and kept permanently.

It requires Cultivation v0.7.4 or newer and is server-side only — your players install nothing. Drop the jar in your plugins folder beside Cultivation and restart; a server running an older Cultivation is refused at load rather than half-starting.

Cultivation itself is free and will stay free. Supporting it through an add-on like this is what pays for the time that goes into the free half.
